    • In 2021 Willem Jan co-founded the Company Circular Floating Districts. To develop floating real estate projects.

    • Willem Jan is available as architect to design sustainable and circular projects, find out more about his previous works here as employee of Paul de Ruiter Architects, Soeters van Eldonk Ponec and Rudy Uytenhaak.

  • As co-founder, besides Hans Bouscholte, of the Holland Ocean Racing Foundation, Willem Jan is an experienced offshore sailor. Having sailed over 6 years on a Whtbread (Volvo) 60 and many other yachts.

    Currently Willem Jan is captain on the 60ft. Colin Archer Atmos Amsterdam. One of the Flagshps of the Sail4Earth Foundation.

    As a Sailing Architect my favorite worlds merge. I am sailing since I was 5 years old and creating drawings since I was a kid. Since then both became my passions to be professional in. Each day these passions motivate me to reach the best results and create the best in both worlds.

Yacht Marketing

Sailing Architect supports clients via marketing in their media exposure.

In close collaboration with The Islander Magazine we produced a movie about the presence of the 172 ft. Doña Francisca during the 37th America’s Cup in Marina Vela Barcelona.
